Ofgem has published its decision regarding the proposal to align section 14 of the Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC) ‘Balancing Services Use of System Charging Methodology’ to the licence changes introduced by RIIO-2 in respect of the system operator revenue restriction. Ofgem confirmed that this modification should be made, as, according to the regulator, it will better facilitate the achievement of the applicable CUSC charging objectives.
