Ofcom calls for inputs on Shared Access Licence framework

Ofcom has called for inputs for its upcoming review of the Shared Access Licence (SAL) framework, which considers changes to support users’ experiences in those bands. Since the SAL framework was established in 2019 to promote innovation by providing a simple, low-cost framework for access to framework, over 1600 licences have been issued. Ofcom wants to explore what has been learnt from these deployments and whether any improvements could be made to help support the original ambition. Responses should be submitted by 16 May 2023.
