The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has published a policy paper titled, ‘Responding to human rights judgments: 2021 to 2022’, which sets out the government’s position on the implementation of human rights judgments from the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the UK domestic courts under the Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA 1998). It considers wider developments in human rights, statistics, earlier ECtHR judgments, new ECtHR judgments and declarations of incompatibility.
