The Local Government Association (LGA) has published a briefing on the Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Act 2022 (TPHV(SRS)A 2022) that covers the background to the Act, its main provisions, practical steps that can be taken by councils in preparation for the Act and the LGA’s influence.
