The Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA) has released a statement on the new immigration and asylum legal aid fixed fee. In the statement, ILPA expresses its concern that the new fee, in real terms, ‘amounts to a reduction at a time when legal aid practitioners are least able to afford it’.
