Government encourages schools and colleges to adopt further testing measures

The Department for Education and the Department for Health and Social Care have reported that all secondary schools have been asked to provide one on-site coronavirus (COVID-19) test for pupils ahead of their return in 2022. According to the government, schools and colleges ordered tests before Christmas and have received these in advance of pupils returning, and will continue to be able to order additional tests through a separate supply route.
