The Food, Faming and Countryside Commission (FFCC) has published a new report entitled ‘Farming for Change: mapping a route to 2030’ which sets out new research into agroecology and how this could produce sufficiently nutritious food for the future UK population. This includes techniques such as, removing the use of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, and increasing the amount of land usable for green and ecological infrastructure twofold.
