This week's edition of EU Law weekly highlights includes analysis on the provisional agreement on the EU AI Act and lessons learned from the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) so far. In addition, this week the European Parliament adopted its proposal on lead candidate system rules in elections, the Industry, Research and Energy Committee adopted the Cyber Solidarity Act, agreements on revising the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, the decarbonisation of gas markets, the revision of the design protection package, the employment status of platform workers, and establishing an Anti-Money Laundering Authority were reached between the Council of the EU and the Parliament, the Council adopted its position on the Net-Zero Industry Act and the European Health Data Space, and the European Commission launched a consultation on the implementing regulation for transparency reporting under the EU DSA.
