The Environment Agency (EA) has published its proposed monitoring plan for 2023 regarding the compliance of English businesses that have responsibilities under the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007, SI 2007/871 (as amended). The EA has set out its overall policy and the minimum number of persons the EA proposes to monitor, which is around 6,800 producers.
