The evidence was produced by the Public Health Advice, Guidance and Expertise function of PHE’s coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic response. The summary covers information on the wider impacts on mental and physical health and its correlation to wellbeing of being in school and an analysis of the effects that the loss of education has had in the last 18 months on social developmental health, mental health and lifelong health impacts.
