The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has published the UK local authority and regional greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions national statistics for 2005–2021. The data covers all emissions other than those from aviation, shipping and military transport, and emissions of fluorinated gases. The main findings include a reduction from 2005–2021 of end-user GHG emissions fell by 23 percent in Northern Ireland, 34 percent in Wales, 39 percent in England and by 35 percent in Scotland.
