The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found serious failings in the standard of care being delivered by Little Oyster Residential Home in Minster-on-Sea and has taken urgent action after an inspection in July 2021. According to the CQC, despite positive progress being shown in April 2021, several complaints were made regarding concern for people’s safety, staffing and management. The inspection in July 2021 revealed that the home was inadequate for being safe, effective and well-led. The CQC therefore imposed urgent and immediate conditions preventing admission and urged the home to improve in care and response.
