The European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, has set out the Commission’s upcoming initiatives and proposals which are due to be presented on 18 October 2022 to further lower energy prices and secure the supply in the EU. The Commissioner also referenced the Commission’s work on improving the electricity market in the long-term, and that the main elements of this will be set out by the end of 2022.
