CNPD delivers accreditation to EU GDPR certification body

The National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD), Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, has accredited the société à responsabilité limitée EY PFS Solutions under its certification mechanism ‘GDPR-CARPA’. EY PFS Solutions can therefore issue certifications under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR) on the basis of the 'GDPR-CARPA' mechanism for five years. This is the first accreditation granted by CNPD to a certification body in Luxembourg and in Europe.
