The Cabinet Office has published the government's response to the consultation on engagement with business and civil society on the implementation of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) through the Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) and the Civil Society Forum (CSF). The consultation ran for seven weeks from 9 August to 21 September 2021, receiving 66 responses from a variety of stakeholders representing all four nations of the UK. The overarching themes emerging from the responses were: the frequency of DAG meetings, transparency around the TCA engagement structures and the importance of the membership of both fora to have relevant expertise, technical knowledge and representation from all four nations of the UK. Alongside the government's response, the Cabinet Office published an expression of interest for membership of the DAG and CSF, running until 9 November 2021 and expected to report back ahead of DAG's first meeting.
