In consultation with the judiciary, HM Courts Tribunal Service (HMCTS) has decided to close the Employment Tribunal venue at Montague Court in Croydon today (Monday, 7 July 2025) due to a burst water pipe affecting many parts of Croydon. This has meant there is currently no running water in the building and the toilets cannot be used. Parties involved in in-person hearings have been sent home. HMCTS will contact parties separately to advise them about plans for tomorrow, which depend on remedial works by the water company.
