The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) has published its European Securitisation Data Report for the first quarter (Q1) of 2026. The report shows that €59.6 billion of securitised products were issued in Europe, a decrease of 6.3% from Q4 2025 and 3.1% from Q1 2025. Of this amount, €43.3 billion was placed, representing 72.8% of total issuance, compared with 59.4% (€37.8 billion) in Q4 2025 and 61.8% (€38.0 billion) in Q1 2025. Outstanding volumes, including collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), increased to €1,294.6 billion, up 0.03% quarter-on-quarter and 6.3% year-on-year.
