The Welsh Minister for Education and Welsh Language, Jeremy Miles, has outlined the Welsh Government’s plans for how it will seek to minimise the disruption caused in post-16 education and training from autumn 2021. Mirroring the current social restrictions, adult education contact groups are to be modelled on multiple groups of up to six people, or single groups of up to 30 people, depending on room size and setting. Miles also set out plans to step away from the two metre social distancing rule for university students, adult learners and part-time learners, allowing for more in-person learning.
