The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has made its Final Recommendation to extend the UK’s steel safeguard measure to the Secretary of State for Business and Trade for another two years. The measure will protect the country’s steel industry from rises in imports. Currently, the measures cover 15 categories of steel which will expire on 30 June 2024, if not extended.
