SLCC launches local council governance toolkit for councils in England

The Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) has announced the launch a local council governance toolkit for councils in England. The toolkit will provide information on a wide range of issues, including governance, roles and responsibilities, public engagement, managing information and elections, as well as template policies, protocols and forms. The toolkit is only available to members of the SLCC, Association of Democratic Services Officers and Lawyers in Local Government. The toolkit will be updated as changes in legislation and regulations are introduced.
