The Department of Health and Social Care has announced that Royal Mail will introduce a weekend extension for 15,000 priority postboxes from 21 November 2020 in order to allow for the collection of coronavirus (COVID-19) tests seven days a week. Additionally, the number of priority boxes will also be increased from 33,000 to 35,000 to enable collections from Monday to Saturday.
