The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) Scotland has notified customers that certain fees payable to the Public Guardian will increase from 1 July 2022. Fees to submit a power of attorney document or a deed of amendment will now increase to £83, registration fees for intervention or guardianship orders will increase to £93 and all fees associated with supervising guardians are also set to increase. Further information can be sought from the Adults with Incapacity (Public Guardian’s Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 which were made on 24th May 2022 and is yet to come in force.
