Ofcom has published its decision to take no action in response to Openreach’s proposed fibre-to-premises (FTTP) pricing offer, known as its ‘equinox offer’. Ofcom was originally notified of Openreach’s intent on 1 July 2021, and stated it recognised the risk that the equinox offer could set commercial terms that undermined new network build. In reaching it’s decision, Ofcom considered both its own assessment of this risk, and held a public consultation into its provisional assessment.
