HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has updated its inheritance tax (IHT) interest rates table from October 1988. The IHT interest rate payable to HMRC from 5 April 2022 is currently at 3.25%, up from 3% for the period 21 February 2022 to 4 April 2022. The interest rate payable on repayment remains at 0.5%.
