The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has awarded a record number of 95 clean energy projects from the first annual Contracts for Difference (CfD) round, as part of its flagship renewables scheme. This comes as the DESNZ has announced the successful applicants for the fifth CfD allocation round.
