The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) has announced £15m in funding for farmers and land managers as part of the second round of the Landscape Recovery scheme. This funding aims to create new habitats for wildlife, help protected sites, boost efforts to reach net zero and support sustainable food production. Farmers, landowners and private land managers can apply for grants from 18 May 2023 to fund projects across nature restoration, habitat creation and improving the conditions of protected sites.
