The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has reported that a fraudulent wedding planner has been handed a five-year prison sentence. Dana Twidale pleaded guilty to 26 counts of fraud at a prior hearing, which included frauds committed against her business partner, a man she met online and 24 suppliers and customers of her wedding planning business. In total, she fraudulently took nearly £60,000 from the victims. As well as her five-year prison sentence, Twidale has been ordered to repay £57,791 at Hull Crown Court.
