In June 2007 the Pensions Regulators (TPR’s) determination panel issued financial support directions (FSDs) against Sea Containers (a Bermudan company) which had entered insolvency proceedings in the US in relation to UK pension schemes that were sponsored by its wholly owned UK subsidiary, Sea Containers Services Ltd. This company applied under rule 10(g) of the Pensions Regulator Tribunal Rules 2005, SI 2005/690, r 10(g) for disclosure by TPR of files and documents falling into certain specified categories. The application was dismissed.
