The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has opened the Hydrogen BECCS Innovation Programme Phase 2 competition to applications and published a guidance document on the competition. Phase 2 of the programme provides £25m to support the demonstration of technologies that can produce hydrogen from biogenic feedstocks and be combined with carbon capture and is only open to projects that were supported in Phase 1. The competition closes at 12 pm on 10 February 2023.
