What does Performer's non-property rights mean?

The performer's non-property rights are rights which belong to the performer which cannot usually be assigned or be transmitted.

The performer's non-property rights include the right to consent for recording live performance, using such a recording without consent, importing, possession or dealing with such a recording. Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, s. 192A.
