505. Applications for making witness anonymity orders.

An application for a witness anonymity order1 to be made in relation to a witness in criminal proceedings2 may be made to the court3 by the prosecutor4 or the defendant5. The court officer must notify the Director of Public Prosecutions6 of an application (unless the prosecutor is, or acts on behalf of, a public authority)7.
