224. Provision of services where an education, health and care plan is maintained.

Where, immediately before a child in need1 reaches the age of 18, a local authority in England2 is providing services for the child3, and an education, health and care plan ('EHC plan')4 is maintained for the child, the local authority may continue to provide services for the child in the exercise of those functions after the child reaches the age of 18, but may not continue
