288. Enforcement in Great Britain.
The penalty for purchasing, offering to purchase, acquiring for commercial purposes, using for commercial gain, displaying to the public for commercial purposes, selling, keeping for sale, offering for sale or transporting for sale, a specimen of a species listed in Annex A or Annex B1, contrary to the assimilated principal Regulation2, is, on summary conviction, imprisonment for a maximum term of six months or a fine or both, and on conviction on indictment, imprisonment for a maximum term of five
