12 Other statutes

An instrument executed on or after 14 September 1967 by a society registered or deemed to be registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965, with its registered office in England or Wales, creating or being evidence of a fixed or floating charge upon the assets of the society is not a bill of sale for the purposes of the Bills of Sale Acts or invalidated by the Acts so long as an application for the recording of the charge is made in accordance with the requirements of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 19671.
