The Welsh Government has announced that a new expression of interest window for the Farm Business Grant will open on 1 September 2021. The Rural Affairs Minister, Lesley Griffiths, has stated that a £2m budget will be made available for farmers to invest in new equipment and technology, which comes from the remaining funds of the EU Rural Development Programme 2014–2020. The expression of interest window will run until 1 October 2021, after which successful applicants will have four months to purchase and claim for the items supported.
