The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has initiated a transition review into an anti-dumping measure on ceramic tableware and kitchenware products like plates, baking dishes and cups from China. The current anti-dumping duty which ranges from 13.1%—18.3% with a residual rate of 36.1%, expires on 16 July 2024 and the TRA is reviewing whether it is still suitable for the UK’s needs. The period of investigation is 1 April 2023—31 March 2024 and the injury period is 1 April 2020 —31 March 2024.
