Ofgem has announced new customer services standards for energy suppliers to make it easier for customers to contact their energy supplier, support those struggling with bills during Winter 2023–2024 and compel suppliers to publish information on their customer service performance as measured by Citizens Advice. The changes will take effect from 14 December 2023, meaning that from this date, energy suppliers must publish the Citizens Advice star ratings based on how good their customer service is.
