Ofgem has published the outcome of its consultation on the proposed administration of the policies on the Great British Insulation Scheme and amendments to ECO4 regulations. Ofgem’s consultation received 17 responses from energy suppliers, installers and an independent organisation promoting energy efficiency. In light of the responses, Ofgem confirmed, among other decisions, that there will be a requirement within the Great British Insulation Scheme that at least 20% of each supplier’s annual target is delivered to the low-income group, the Great British Insulation Scheme will offer support to social housing tenants, and that the Great British Insulation Scheme uplifts will be administered in the same way as for ECO4.
