The International Agreements Committee (IAC) has reopened its inquiry into the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA), following publication of the signed text. The renewed call for evidence requests submissions on all aspects of the UK-Australia FTA. In particular, IAC is keen to hear to what extent it meets the government's stated negotiating objectives; how it will affect consumers and businesses; and the likely economic, social, environmental and other impacts. The deadline for submissions is 5pm on 3 February 2022.
