(iv) Electrical, Gas and Oil Appliances and Fittings
Part 2 of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 20161 imposes obligations on manufacturers, importers, distributors or authorised representatives (collectively known as 'economic operators')2, to ensure the safety of electrical equipment to which the regulations apply3.
Before placing electrical equipment on the market4 a manufacturer5 must:
