101. Copyright Issues in respect of devices designed to circumvent copy-protection.

A person communicating to the public1 a computer program to which a technical device2 has been applied, has the same rights3 as a copyright owner4 has in respect of an infringement of copyright against a person who, knowing or having reason to believe5 that it will be used to make infringing copies6:


    (1)     manufactures for sale or hire, imports, distributes, sells or lets for hire, offers or exposes for sale7 or hire, advertises for sale or hire or has in his possession for commercial purposes any means the sole intended purpose of which is to facilitate the unauthorised removal
