The trustee must distribute the assets available for distribution1 in accordance with the prescribed order of payment2. Subject to the statutory provisions3, the Crown has no priority in bankruptcy over other unsecured creditors in respect of debts due to the Crown4. To be entitled to share in the distribution, the creditor must have proved his debt5; and, if he is a secured creditor, he must have complied with the provisions relating to secured creditors6. All debts proved in the bankruptcy in the same category of priority rank equally between themselves7; and the order of priority for payment is:
