Certain provisions of the Visiting Forces Act 1952 apply to members of a civilian component of a visiting force1. To qualify as such, a person must hold a passport issued in respect of him by a government, which is not a passport issued by the passport authorities of the United Kingdom or any colony2, and which contains an uncancelled entry made by or on behalf of the appropriate authority
