47 Aerial advertising

The use of an aircraft while in the air whether wholly or partly for the emission or display of any advertisement or other communication which is audible or visible from the ground is prohibited except in certain prescribed circumstances1.

The specified exceptions to the general prohibition allow:

  1. 47.1

        the emission or display of any communication for one or more of the following purposes:

    1. 47.1.1

          complying with the law of the country in force in relation to the aircraft;

    2. 47.1.2

          securing the safety of the aircraft or any person or property in it;

    3. 47.1.3
