717. Application for order quashing tainted acquittal following certification.

Where a court certifies1 that, but for interference or intimidation, an acquitted person would not have been acquitted, an application may be made to the High Court for an order quashing the acquittal2. Such an application3 must be made not later than 28 days after4the issue of the certificate5.
