72. Status and use of the Welsh language in Wales.
Constitutional and Administrative Law (Volume 20 (2023)) | Commentary
The Welsh language has official status in Wales, conferred by the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 20111. Without prejudice to this general principle, this status is given legal effect by the enactments2 about:

(1) duties on bodies to use the Welsh language, and the rights which arise from the enforceability
