The following update impacts this Halsbury paragraph. As from 1 October 2023 (see SI 2023/993) the Building Act 1984 ss 16, 17 are repealed: Building Safety Act 2022 Sch 5 para 20. Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010, SI 2010/404, reg 14 revoked: SI 2023/911 (England). Building (Approved Inspectors etc) Regulations 2010, SI 2010/2215, replaced in relation to England: Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc) (England) Regulations 2024, SI 2024/110.
