A warrant issued by the court under any provision of the Insolvency Act 1986 must be addressed to such officer of the High Court or of the County Court as the warrant specifies, or to any constable1.
For the purposes of the court's powers of enforcement2, the prescribed officers of the court are, in the case of the High Court, the tipstaff and the tipstaff's assistants of the court, and, in the case of the County Court, a bailiff3.
