On Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, LexisNexis CEO Mike Walsh was honored by the United Nations Foundation with a Global Leadership Award in recognition for the company's work in advancing the Rule of Law around the globe. Previous honorees have included Malala Yousafzai, Desmond Tutu, Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey. Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says, "Mike is a leader who understands that societies without a predictable legal framework are societies where people do not invest in their future, or the future of their country, and that businesses do better when the world does better.
