Mary Bonsor, Founder of Flex Legal

Mary Bonsor, Founder of Flex Legal, launched the award-winning platform in 2016 to connect law firms and in-house teams with paralegals and lawyers on a flexible basis. Fast forward to October 2021 and Mary took her mission a step further with the launch of Flex Trainee - an SQE training scheme created to help socially mobile aspiring lawyers qualify in-house. Mary was awarded 'Entrepreneur of the Year' for her incredible work in the Women in Law Awards in 2020, 'Innovative Leader' in last year's Women Influence and Power in Law Awards, and Flex Legal were delighted to win Law Company of the Year at the Lawyer Awards in 2021. Most recently, last year Flex was recognised as being the fastest growing female-founded company in the UK in The Independent's E2E listing. Outside of work, Mary is mother to two young children.

Denis Viskovich, Founder of Future City Lawyers

Denis Viskovich is a dual-qualified Australian and English lawyer with over twenty years of experience working for investment banks and companies in the City of London and Mayfair. 

Four years ago, he left the corporate world and became a visiting lecturer at three university law schools, where he taught commercial awareness and risk to law students. He also works with the charity SEO London by providing seminars on commercial awareness and risk to some of their law students. In 2021, he founded Future City Lawyers with the aim of helping students develop their legal commercial awareness and excel at law interviews and assessment centres through interactive teaching with honest and direct feedback. Denis is also the founder of the British & Irish University Commercial Awareness Competition (BIUCAC), the largest commercial awareness competition for Non Russell and Irish law students - with the aim of "levelling the playing field " with the help of 28 law firm and corporate sponsors.
